FAQ

What can I expect from a 3D printed model?

Resin options come with pre-removed supports, but small imperfections can sometimes occur in prints. Additional sanding or cleaning may be required.

For PLA options, all supports have already been removed, and there are minimal or no defects. Areas with overhangs may require additional cleaning. We print terrain with a layer height of 0.12 mm, so only barely visible layer lines remain.

What ink is used for 3D printing?

We typically use gray, white, or black. Regardless of the color of the 3D print, you can prime all models and paint them to any desired final color. Contact us if you would like a print to have a specific base color, and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Do these models come painted?

No, all models are delivered unpainted. However, I work with various partners who can do this. Please contact us in advance so we can clarify this and create a quote.

At what layer resolution are models printed?

Almost all terrain pieces are printed using the FDM process with a layer height of 0.12mm.
Miniatures are printed from resin with a layer height of 0.025 mm.

How quickly will I receive my models?

We're a print-on-demand service. Once your order is placed, it will be queued for printing. Depending on the size of the order and the models purchased, printing may take a few days. We aim to ship within 2 weeks.

At what scale are models printed?

Models are typically printed at the default scale of 100%, as specified by the 3D designers, except where noted. If you would like to print items at a different scale, please contact us for customized order pricing.

Can you print STL files not listed on the website, including non-tabletop gaming items?

Sure! We also offer a 3D printing service. If you find something you're interested in and would like to 3D print, please contact us for pricing.
